The pandemic has disrupted the lives of people from all walks of life. Regardless of your age, social economic status, the sudden changes brought on by this global pandemic require you to adapt and adjust to the circumstances in order to stay afloat. During times of adversity, experiencing stress is very real and personal. But you do not need to be overwhelmed by stressful events. You can rise above your challenges and setbacks, become resilient by learning to manage your stress effectively.

Course Objectives

Build personal resilience. This 1-day workshop will equip you with the practical knowledge, techniques and tips of managing stress, foster self-awareness and promote your personal growth, and prepare you to confidently face stressful and difficult situations in life.

  • Understanding stress and its impact on your health and relationships
  • Examine the myths and truths about stress
  • Learn the ABCD Model of stress management
  • Examine the thinking traps that amplify your stress levels.
  • Learn how you can change your thinking to cope effectively with stress.
  • Identify your individual level of stress in 10 important life areas through the Stress Evaluation Profile.
  • Create your own Personal Stress Management Plan
  • Practical self-care tips and technique

Who Should Attend

This program is designed for those who want to build personal resilience by expanding their stress management skillset.

Participants are assumed to be able to listen, speak, read and write English fairly well
