Gestalt Play Therapy is a dynamic, present-centered, humanistic, process-oriented mode of therapy that focuses attention on the healthy integrated functioning of the total organism, comprised of the senses, the body, the emotions, and the intellect. This therapy is implemented as a treatment of choice in mental health, school, agency, hospitals and different settings with children and adolescents who are displaying behaviours that are seen to be a problem; they may be withdrawn, difficult to manage or not reaching their potential in some way.
The following workshops are designed to build theoretical understanding and clinical skills in play therapy from the perspective of contemporary Gestalt psychotherapy.
