Dr Loranie Leas

Dr. Loranie Leas is a clinical and health psychologist with over 17 years of practice. She has extensive experience working with a diverse range of adults and conducting group therapy programs. Her professional journey spans community mental health, corrective services, inpatient and outpatient hospital settings, and private practice.

Her expertise extends to various evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples, and Schema Therapy. Dr. Leas is dedicated to creating a safe and collaborative therapeutic environment, advocating for a tailored approach that aligns therapeutic methods with her clients' needs. She is committed to providing a holistic model of care to help clients achieve their goals.

Loranie is a certified Level 3 Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapist and a trainer-in-training at IFS Institute. She is the second official IFS Institute trainer in the Oceania region and has frequently assisted in official training events across Australia. Additionally, she has led Introduction to IFS workshops alongside IFS-trained assistants.
